i know i’ve said it a couple times this season, and i might say it again. but man have been blown away with this calving season, and this one is pretty close to the icing on the cake.
georgia x thor absolutely killed it.
this beautiful heifer is non chondro, horned, black and hairy… she came into the world on oct 21 at 45# and 21”. being dam raised, so ready for new home in february/march-ish. it really just depends on the weather here in iowa. her dam is an absolute farm favorite, calm & easy going. sire is an Ahca registered highland.

i’m not kidding you when i say this was my dream pairing, and they gave me exactly what i asked for!!
this girl is the result of moe x maynard. she hit the ground at 19” and 38 pounds on sept 22. maynard (owned by webb cattle co, see attachment below for his info) stamped his mark on his little sweetie! is being dam raised & should be ready for her new farm sometime in february. depending on weather!
chondro tests are NEVATIVE! she is fULL of hair and horned - and you know the drill. no dehorning services are offered at gcc. :)

This beautiful girl is the result of Trudy x Gambler. She was born 6/17/25. A healthy girl coming in at 21” and 52 pounds. Her mother calved with ease; however, her mother did need assistance feeding. We supplemented early with colostrum to ensure she received essential nutrients, and she is now being bottle-fed. While bottle fed is NOT what we strive for at GCC, we do believe we made the best choice for a positive outcome.
This calf stands out with a uniquely short nose and an abundance of hair, giving her a striking appearance. She has non-cropped ears and non-chondro genetics, making her a great pairing for a chondro-positive bull down the line. Her short legs contribute to a sturdy frame, with great structure and balance. She is horned and we do not offer dehorning services with our calves.
A 50% deposit is required to hold with the remaining 50% balance being taken care of before leaving our farm. All of our calves come with vet checks, health papers, custom ear tags, swag bag and feed.
